When you run the installer

Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” box. Click More info, then Run anyway. This appears because the installer is new, not because anything is wrong with it.

The first start is slow

The first time you open it, YourBooks POS sets up its database on your computer. This can take a few minutes and only happens once. Leave the window open until it finishes.

What you need

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
• About 1 GB of free disk space
• 4 GB of memory or more
• Internet once, to activate — after that it works offline

More than one till?

Install it on each till. On the first computer, use it as normal — that one holds the data. On the others, enter the first computer’s address when asked, and they’ll share the same stock and sales. See pricing.
